1. No complaining, we all are living, therefore we all know how unfair life is.
2. End my laziness
3. Be more grateful
4. Use less words, and make those few words powerful enough

Longgg over due but here are some photos of Architecture in Helsinki (one of my fav bands!) when they came to Cat's Cradle, November 14th! One of the best shows I've been to. Love to John Mildren and your beautiful dreads and beard. I know these are blurry and all, I was having way too much fun. Amazing live!

Nostalgia
You might know that I work for University Archives at school. I get to work with old photographs and documents since the beginning of the establishment of the university, that range in topics from Athletics to Engineering Conventions. The current project I'm scanning is student life, which I found extremely amazing, because even though these photographs were taken during 1985s, I know where on campus it is. Some photos, I've actually have done the same thing at that same place. After I scanned the pictures onto the Mac, I just took a picture of them on my phone, so excuse the random Photoshop toolbar.

I love their frames!
I don't really like the glasses I have, but my friend told me to look here and I saw the cutest frames (I'm eyeing Edith ;) ) and they're like only $30! If you're into glasses like moi and want to look around, go here: http://proopticals.com/.

Dear Smart Phones,
I would like to thank you for making all my friends so happy. You have helped them and even me numerous times when they are with me, thanks to your GPS and internet capabilities. One day, I'd like to have one of you some day.
HOWEVER, I have a bone to pick with you Mr. Smart phone.
You have turned most of my friends into rude, impolite, selfish, and distracted people. I don't remember having a decent conversation where one of my friends is staring and typing on you so intensely, while I'm trying to tell them something. What is so important that they cannot wait 10 minutes? I understand time to time, you have to take that call / text / email. But seriously, at all times of the day?
It's dinner time for God's sake, do you really have to tell Facebook where you are? Or what you're about to eat? That's why you haven't noticed pasta sauce on your blouse. Too busy typing away on your awesome little iPhone that has stolen you away from me.
So smart phones, please bring back my polite, thoughtful, and caring friends back. PLEASE.
Thank you,
An ignored friend

Besides my dad, I never had any other male figures in my life like a grandfather or uncle that I could look up to. Until Sunday morning.
My neighbor, Rajni dada, has been my neighbor since I moved in my house in 4th grade. I've always seen him and his wife as my grandparents, not fully but definitely respectable and wise. They are so much fun to be around with, and it never feels completely like home if they are not there. Even when I take trips back home for a weekend and don't spend time with them, I always greet them and say good bye to them before I sit in the car to leave.
Sunday morning I pack my car and run down my mountain of a drive way and ring the doorbell. The white haired slender old man that always makes me feel happy and warm inside. I go pray to his feet and do an awkward hug ( I am very uncomfortable hugging older men, even my dad ) and he kisses my cheek and that moment right there, I realized he is my grandfather.

Despite the tornado warnings and getting drenched unexpectedly from the rain (while wearing a white shirt), I won a free shirt from Kiran - North Carolina , the South Asian domestic violence non profit organization that I volunteer for! I won because I liked their FB page! Yay :)
Speaking of, domestic violence sees no race, gender, age, or ethnicity. It happens, whether spoken about or not. South Asian culture suffers a different type of domestic violence than many know about, but everyone needs to be aware of it!
"Like" their page on Facebook to learn more .
Please & Thank You!

Joyeux Anniversaire
On May 5th it's Mukhtar's, a bus-driver in Copenhagen, Birthday. In 2010 he had no idea that a large group of people had planned to celebrate him...

End.
I hate when I try to explain myself so much, but you don't get even 10% of what I'm trying to express.
I hate it when I finally feel positive about this, finally can be civil about this, when I can put a smile on my face and talk to you, actually waiting for you to respond, and you don't respond, don't answer my questions, don't even mention anything I said in the past 5 texts and 2 missed calls, and you make me feel negative about this whole fucking thing.
I hate it that everything, EVERYTHING works on your time and terms.
I hate it when I straight forward tell you what I don't like and you on the spot make an excuse about it, compare it with my flaws and my problems that aren't related to what I'm trying to say, and manipulate your words to make it seem that my request and suggestion is completely absurd.
I hate how the last time we skyped was June 28th and it hasn't hit you that you haven't seen me in so long. When I repeatedly ask to skype you give some excuse.
I hate when I try to talk to you about something you immediately cut me off and talk about YOU. And how now, our whole conversation revolves around you, your family, your thoughts, your ideas, and your life and how amazing it is and how I never talk.
I hate how you expect me to say I love you, expect me to be all giddy after you wronged me.
I hate how you think you're better than me with this job and paycheck and new life you found.
I hate how you have no fucking interest in my life.
I hate how I know I can do better but you're in the fucking way and ...
I hate that I have to wait for the 29th to execute this decision that I have known for so long.

How do I recap the past few weeks when I can barely remember it myself? I must say, those past few weeks have been my best!
I found how much I've changed...IMPROVED this past month. I realized that I'm blessed to be surrounded by so many beautiful people who will never cease to amaze me. I just, feel so much different, in clearly the best way possible.
I just know my life has honestly, just begun<3

I'm falling EXTREMELY behind
I haven't posted anything since I came back from Brussels and I'm terribly sorry because SO much has happened since then.
My weekend to Amsterdam was...interesting. A lot of hassle, frustration, stress, and constant problems just TRAVELING to and from this city. We barely spent a full day touring the city and doing what we wanted to. But I shouldn't complain because Amsterdam was beyond beautiful, classy, and sweet overall.
Classes are so much fun, especially my French class! I realized I'm pretty good at French Taboo !
I have bought a lot of cute purchases!
I will catch up as soon as the craziness ends, hopefully I don't forget what I want to say <3
take care everyone, thank you for following me on my life changing trip, it means a LOT!

Porquoi?
Why do mosquitoes attack my body? They already destroyed my legs with red bumps, but now I have mosquito bites on my arm, elbow, chest, neck (which makes it look like a hickey!), and a COUPLE ON MY FACE.

Brussels
I visited Brussels, Belgium yesterday, and it was so beautiful! Less than one day didn't do justice to this beautiful capital, I'm craving more time there.
The weather wasn't exactly perfect, and my pants that were still air drying (thank you dorm dryers for working well) resulted in why I was wearing shorts + tights.
When we reached at 10am, my French Arts class got off the bus (with croissants!) and walked to the Comic Museum. I personally found it...bleh, maybe because I don't find them that interesting and they were mainly French (how dare they omit Fox Trot and Garfield?!). The exhibit and the images were really cool though!
After 40 minutes of quickly strolling, we all decided we were starving. We trekked out in the rain (ugh) and tried to find a place to eat. After a long time of getting soaked, shivering, and scanning prices and something vegetarian, we went to Quick Burger (which I had the night before at Fete de la Musique..the music festival of Lille which was AMAZING) and we finally were satisfied.
We then went strolling along and found the "peeing baby" or Mannekan Pis! It was extremely small compared to what I imagined! The souvenirs around us were bigger than the actual fountain, we saw a bigger chocolate model of it!
We then walked around the city, and the buildings and art everywhere was so sweet and cool. I got a few pictures :)
We realized it was close to the meeting point time by the Grand Place, so we walked around there and found a place to eat warm sucre gauffres (Belgium Waffles!) Let's just say I was in a food coma for around an hour! I refused to get up and out in the cold again!
Later we wanted to find a place to sit so we drank some Belgium beer as well, and alas it was 4:45, back to the bus!
